Cherry Creek Golf Links is a Public, 36 hole golf facility located in Riverhead, New York. The facility has two 18-hole golf courses, The Links and The Woods.
The Links and The Woods courses are located directly across the street from one another. They are two distinctly different types of courses. The Links has beautiful elevated tees and long generous lush fairways. The Woods has rolling treelined fairways, winding doglegs and man made ponds. It is a shot-makers delight.

Cherry Creek golf course opened in 1996. This par-73 course was designed by Charles Jurgens.
Cherry Creek golf course stretches to 7,187 yards for a course rating of 73.7 and a slope rating of 128.
#12 is the signature hole, a 389-yard par-4 that plays from an elevated tee to a narrow, sloping fairway with a pond on the right.
#18 is a par-6 and is the only par 6 in the New York Metropolitan Area. This hole measures 644 yards from the back tees.

This is a good course for all levels of play. Good length and has 600+ yd par 6 as finishing hole. Good variety of hole design. Grass practice area yet not in great condition but one of only in area that is not private.

We were there golfing at an outing. This was actually the second outing we played there this year. The course is spectacular! The staff is second to none. They are great hosts for an outing, putting on a very nice spread of food we all enjoyed. Definitely a must play course in my opinion.
